FAQ — apples from Poland

Why are Polish apples popular worldwide?

Poland is the EU's largest apple producer and one of the top three globally. Cool nights, sunny days and CA (controlled-atmosphere) storage give Polish apples crisp texture, balanced acidity and year-round availability.

Which varieties are available?

Idared, Gala, Golden Delicious, Champion, Ligol, Jonagold, Jonaprince, Red Delicious, Granny Smith, Mutsu, Szampion and Gloster — fresh from harvest in August or from CA storage through to late spring.

What packaging do you offer?

20 kg telescopic cartons, 18 kg plateaux, 12–13 kg bushel boxes, 300–400 kg wooden bins, 2/4 kg poly bags, 1.5 kg trays. Labelled to client and destination spec.

Do you supply non-EU markets?

Yes — regular shipments to the UK, Norway, Serbia, the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt) and North Africa with full phytosanitary documentation.

What are typical minimum order quantities?

Full reefer trucks (20–24 pallets) for export, smaller part-loads for nearby EU markets. Container loads (40' HC) for non-EU.
